Join us Saturday June 27 at 2pm at Eddie’s Attic in Decatur for an incredible performance by The Wishing Jar for children ages 2-8.  They’ll be performing original songs that accompany their illustrated book, Until Tomorrow. Tickets are $8 for children and $12 for adults.  Fun!

What started as a fun project for two friends turned into an unexpected burst of joy and creativity. The two women decided to pursue writing and recording under a band name, using their perspectives as moms to create something magical. The result is the Wishing Jar.

Amber and her husband, Jared, have been making music together for 9 years as worship leaders, the last 2 of those as part of North Point Ministries, the largest group of churches in the country. They moonlight as the indie rock/folk power duo Jared&Amber and were recently recognized as one of the top 7 bands in Atlanta. Amber has accomplished quite a bit in her years, but her favorite job is being mom to her beautiful twin girls, Audrey & Autumn.

Candi has been writing and singing professionally for over 16 years, including leading worship for Passion Conferences, writing and performing for the Dove-Award winning album Glory Revealed, and leading worship for North Point Ministries. She and her husband, Jonathan, are full-time musicians with a passion for helping to develop leaders through discipleship, community, and focused times of solitude. They are the parents of 2 very precocious, creative sons, Elias & Ellery.
